I Centralna banka Engleske povećala referentnu kamatnu stopu.

The Bank of England also raised its benchmark interest rate. The benchmark interest rate was raised by 0.25 percentage points to 0.5%. Although it faces sluggish economic growth, higher-than-target inflation due to the strong depreciation after leaving the EU (but the pass-through effect is expected to weaken), volatile investment as a result of Brexit, the bond-buying policy (government and corporate) continues, the economy is growing enough to reduce unemployment. The economy is expected to be boosted by rising global demand, high rates of profitability and tighter monetary policy to support growth in the coming years without inflationary pressures.
