Foreign direct investment (FDI) is of great importance for the development of the IT industry in Serbia. Foreign investors emphasize several advantages of the Serbian market in this field: a high level of English language proficiency, geographic proximity to key markets, and a favorable business climate compared to other countries with a large number of IT professionals, such as India and China.
