Komitet za monetarnu politiku Centralne banke Engleske (MPC) nastavila je sa ciljanom stopom inflacije od 2% s ciljem da se održi rast ekonomije i zaposlenost. Komitet je jednoglasno glasao za kupovinu korporativnih obveznica iz rezervi centralne banke od 10 milijardi funti. Ideja je da se održi kupovina državnih obveznica UK.

The Central Bank of England keeps the reference interest rate at the level of 0.5%. The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) continued to target an inflation rate of 2% in order to maintain economic growth and employment. The committee voted unanimously to buy £10bn of corporate bonds from the central bank’s reserves. The idea is to keep buying UK government bonds.
