FED počinje da rasprodaje aktivu, koju je gomilala tokom kriznih godina. Plan je da se reinvestiranje obavlja postepeno. U bilansu je trenutno 4,5 biliona dolara, ali nije postavljena donja granica bilansa stanja. Da li će se monetarne vlasti odlučiti da zadrže veći bilans stanja ili ne ostaje da se vidi… činjenica je da veći bilans nije podsticaj za ekonomiju.

The Fed is starting to sell off the assets it accumulated during the crisis years. The plan is to reinvest gradually. There is currently $4.5 trillion on the balance sheet, but no balance sheet floor has been set. Whether or not the monetary authorities will decide to maintain a larger balance sheet remains to be seen… the fact is that a larger balance sheet is not a stimulus for the economy.
